I can tell you a story about the first time we did a show in Arkansas that they called a "Concours". We really thought it was a Concours. We showed up with our car in an enclosed trailer. What ensued was so funny. I'll tell you about it at Palooza.

I was making a joke. After all the work I'm doing I will enjoy the drive to Palooza. Believe me I am not taking the car show seriously. The car needed many things done to it and Palooza just got my butt in gear. For example I have been wanting to change my stone guards, now I have a reason. Plus I've been a passenger in Bill's car before, I'll just drive thank you.

Update 10-12-11
Well back on the car the past couple of days. I am getting ready to buff it out so I started by removing the stone guards. I learned along time ago to replace them every 2-3 years. This way they pull off with ease and it takes less time, a minute or so per side.
See how easy they pull off. Even after 3 years they were starting to yellow.
Here they are after being pulled off
And the new set from our boys at FisterD. The ones I removed were from them as well. They held up quite well.
On to the seats I do the Leatherique treatment twice a year. Doing it two times a year is a quick way to maintain the leather. I did the shift boot and steering wheel as well.
Before
Applied and soaking in
I spuced up the engine bay. It was in pretty good shape

I'm getting ready to buff here are all the products and tools I'll use. the paint is in excellent shape with very light scratches from wiping it down, I do this twice a year. I find keeping up with the paint makes it so much easier keeping it looking great.
Supplies and tools
The car taped off and ready to buff out.
Here are the wheels. The only thing bad about these wheels is that they have to be taken off to be cleaned on the inside

More to come when I buff it out.

My garage project was totally funded by the sale of
1. Sport Seats
2. 3 Spoke Steering Wheel
3. Aluminum E-brake and Shifter
4. RUF Wheels
5. Silver Hood Crest
6. Batphone console
I actually like the car better in this configuration. Has more of a classic look.
