I hear you Mike. Hell, with interest, I think that's a case or a whole keg by now.

Thanks Patrick..... I fixed it. I'm so into typing October right now and with RR Reunion in a few days, I'm focused on that, and the Race for the Cure the week after that, and the WOR Calendar pictures not all coming in on time, and then the Palooza....... I need to stop and breath a little.

UPDATE - 10-10-11
I finally had some time to work on the wheel wells today. I haven't touched them sine I did the car about 3 years ago and 8,000 miles. So here are some detailed shots of what I did.
I always can clean the face of the caliper when washing the car, but once I got the car up on stands I saw what 8,000 miles did. Pretty dirty, I cleaned and waxed it for that nice yellow pop against the Rivi Blue paint
Here are the liners and the fender wells.
After 8,000 miles road tar and grime build up. I used a good wax and grease remover. After a little elbow grease the popped back to life. Before
After
These 2 shots are with the liners removed and showing the road dirt and grime that has accumulated. Notice the rub mark to the left of the shock. The PO had way to big of wheels on the car and at full turn a little rubbing took the paint right off.
After a good wipe down with my wax and grease remover all the dirt is gone. at this point I take a Scotch Brite Pad soaked in wax and grease remover to scuff the surface and get in all the grooves.
Almost ready for paint. I use green paper to cover everything and mask off any exposed parts. Almost ready for the paint (my favorite part)
Another
I scrubbed the wheel liners to remove all the dirt and dressed them out with Tire Foam. I like using the Tire Foam because it sprays in every nook and crannie. I just let it sit for 20 minutes and wipe off the excess. It really darkens up the liners and contrasts with the new painted fender wells
One finished wheel well and 3 to go. This does take a few hours per wheel, but once every 3 to 4 years is no big deal. I have never had my car at a major event like Palooza and just want to present it in the best light.
Another
Fresh Rivi Blue wheel wells. Now that's nice.
And the last one
Stay tuned. I will be posting the next project. The buff and wax.

That's just insane. I've never understood people that do this. Why not just drive the damn car?
EDIT - I just realized I've done the same thing. Twice...
The last time, I had trouble stopping at just the wheel wells:

Did you guys paint the outer (finned) portion of your rotors ?
Never thought of doing this....nice touch. My winter project list is getting progressively longer.

Yes I painted them. I just use Dupli Color silver caliper paint. AOW uses a special blend with Yak **** or someting like that. I spend a few hours on mine he spends a few months on his.
