Bummer indeed about Joel Reiser - any recommendations in the New Jersey/Philly/New York area? I would like to drop car off and actually deal face-to-face with whoever is going to fix my car.

you might also want to check. I have an early 95 with the removable 2nd gear. If you are going to rebuild, you might want to consider changing the gear out. Just my 2 cents.

Don't know how far Blauvelt, NY is from you but DeMan Motorsport does know their way around transmissions. And they can source whatever gears your heart desires. The GT2 G50 now in blackie came from there, as did Bill Verburg's G50/21.

Guess that also means I'm now long a G64.
