Default Yikes....I have to get busy wrenching!

Well, I've accumulated some of the slope I'll be sliding down soon with the 993.

It'll stay "mild", as long as the 911 is in the garage too, but she'll benefit from some tasteful improvements. Got all of the suspension upgrade stuff in stock now, and my "new" RSR mufflers showed up this week-thanks Corrdobrit!

I just have to get past RRIV and the great fall season, and she'll go on the lift-perhaps early Nov.

Ed,

In looking over your parts, you are making a lot of the same mods I've been thinking about. When you get to the other side I'd very much be interested in your impressions of the work and the results. Good luck!!

Will do Mike. I'm figuring the suspension refresh, much less the upgrade, will be a few steps forward from my original setup at 68K/

Use 2 collars on the rear shock or could be a complete redo at alignment time

You should do engine mounts as well Ed.
I think you will feel the change from the engine mounts more than from the rest of the suspension upgrade.

This isn't all inclusive, I've got my list. I can do engine mount independent of the suspension.

Original Monroes and bushings after 17 years/68K miles will surely be superceded by the new shocks/bushings, let alone any upgrade.

I had the same situation with my monroes and M29 suspension. I did my engine mounts first. It was day and night. Then after that I did the HD/30 upgrade - did not feel that much of a change.
But anyway - they can be done later like you said.
Good luck with the install.

Subscribed! What are the details of your upgrades? Sorry if I missed it but what suspension set up did you go with? What ride height? Before and after photos please. Oh, and which strut tower brace did you get?

Bilstein HD, Porsche MO33 ROW, Walrod bushings, new ARB bushings, TRG brace. I'll probably go to stock ROW height.

What exactly does changing the engine mounts do for the ride? How does it affect the feel of the car? Also, what is a ballpark on the cost...

I'm thinking about the M030 this winter but handn't heard about the mounts.

Thanks,
