Since I have a blue car I wanted to create a more subtle effect than the default BBS gold. I went with Porsche colour 531 white gold:

I recently purchased a set of WORK Brombachers with the platinum finished centers. I love the look of them against the Guards Red and as you can see in the second pic they look even better in motion.

Nice Wheels but the gold does not work for me.
go with something differnet , go with White centers . Saw a new white 911 with white centers and they looked really good. try photo shopping that.

It all depends on where you are coming from. If you are giving a nod to Porsche history it's a more than appropriate choice. If it's just a question of whether or not the colors work together ultimately it's your call but I think it looks great.
