Default 18” 996 Turbo Wheels on 993 NB Fitment Question

Supposedly originally from a 04 turbo:

Fronts: part # 996.362.136.01
18"x8" et50

Tires
225/40/18

Rears: part # 996.362.140.04
18"x10" et65
Tires
285/30/18

Will these fit (bolt on) a 98 – 993 NB (C4 if that matters)? If so pictures would be great.

Hi
I have 996 Turbo Wheels on my NB 97 Carrera, all is Ok but the front wheels are 18" x 7.5" not sure but I think the part number is the same as described above, all I needed was 6 mm spacers on the front.

You need to check the off sets.

Thanks for the reply - I'm pretty sure the front part# is an 8" width. I am waiting for the offsets from the seller at which point I will update the post.

Not sure if the wheels are from an 04 turbo in that I believe turbos had an 11 inch rear-et 45mm? I could be mistaken but I just bought a set from an 03 turbo and they are direct bolt on for a widebody car. I have read of people not being able to fit the 11 inch on the rear due to its width and lower offset. They should clearly say what they are right on the back of them. Hope this helps.

That's why this is so difficult to search, conflicting info based on model vs part#. I wish I could test fit but it's a long drive and need a truck for transport. Hopefully someone can verify by part#'s. I think the offsets are et50 front and 65 back but still waiting for verification. I've never had to post - found every answer searching but this one ???

If they are definately the offsets you think they are and 18x8 and 18x10, they will fit a narrow body without issue. That is the key for these wheels fitting or not-offsets, I mean. Good luck.

If they are 65 offset rear they are solid spokes and weigh 34 pounds. I started a thread on this a while back.

This thread reminds me that I want to sell my MY 02's on my NB C4.

Picture from yesterday:

I believe the 996 Turbo Hollow spokes are part numbers 996.362.138.04 and 996.363.142.03 -- those are the ones that are 11" and not going to fit a NB.
So it sounds like the info you were given about them being 10" is correct... also 285's sit funny on an 11inch rim, so that tire size is consistent w/a 10". I realize this doesn't answer your fitment question, but it leads me to think they are solid-spoke (heavier) wheels, maybe from a C4S ?... that info may be of use to you in determining price/value.

Hi
Unfortunately I am on holidays until next Tuesday and of course I don't have the 993 with me.

If you can wait til I get home I can confirm the part numbers and off sets, as I have what sounds like the same wheels on my car.

996 turbo wheels on a NB 993.

According to the chart on 944 racing here those wheels are the OEM BBS Turbo Look II which are solid and quite heavy.

Verified offset's and they are 50 fronts and 65 rears. Thanks for all the help I believe I have a set that will fit. As far as weight is concerned I think these weigh about the same as the stock 993 solid twists that are on there now.

They fit!

So, how where you able to make those wheels fit your NB 993? Are you running the 18x8et50's on both the front and rear?
