I'm finally ready to join the 911 club and buy a 993. I've been scouring the internet for a C2 coupe for close to a month now without much luck... I'm trying to find one with around 60k miles... it seems like the vast majority have extremely low or high miles and there is very little in between.
I've been checking the listings on rennlist, pca, pelican parts, ebay, cars.com and autotrader. Is there anywhere else I should be looking? These cars sure are tough to find!
Thanks Magdaddy, I'll give that a try. I would prefer a darker color car with a black, cashmere or even red interior. Slate gray or aventurine green metallic are definitely at the top of my list but I would consider black, white or any blues. I might consider others though as long as condition and price are right!
As for options the only one that really matters to me is that it is a manual. The motor sound package would be nice but isn't necessary.
Be patient shopping is fun, if you wait and watch a good rennlister will put up a car that makes sence for you. Great choice 993 , would not pass up a well driven car also if in great condition, miliage is nOt always the best barometer , all the best

Sorry, I just saw somone already suggested this place. Then try the usual suspects such as: autotrader, cars.com. ebay, craigslist, hemmingsmotornews.com, etc. Also try www.porsche.com and search the country within Porsche dealers
You can accomplish this same thing using Google "advance search" (its hidden in the top tool bar somewhere or https://www.google.com/advanced_search) OR simply using this in the basic google search window:
Porsche 993 site:craigslist.org
Someone on RL passed this nugget of info to me and now I pass it on...
Great car to buy...be picky and get one from an enthusiast.
I got mine at one of the above mentioned dealers and, although I got a great car the buying experience was not fun. For me buying a car from someone that is just as excited about their car when the sell as when they bought it leaves both of you with a big smile. It also increases the "value" of the car.
Have fun shopping...REnnlisters are your best source if you are patient.
