Any list members have any experience of changing Right Hand Drive 993s to Left Hand Drive or vice versa?
Or know any one who has?
TIA

When Steve used the word "read", I'm pretty sure he did not mean that he wrote a lengthy book on the costs; rather, he used the word "read" to mean "in other words" or "i.e.".
Big jobs are usually very expensive (read: not cheap).

There is a reading but on a 3.2 and not from RHD to LHD but from LHD to RHD.

You guys are all most likely right and I had thought the same but I have some time on my hands and thought I could get into some trouble.

Yes it will be difficult. On the brighter side, since the engine is at the back, it will be easier. Unlike front engine mounted cars, there is more difficulty because of the location of the brake hydrovac, sometimes bump into the engine.
A new LHD dash and steering wheel switches will needed too. Location of hood switch etc also.
Most cars imported from Japan are right handed and its illegal here to use them. So the usual question is, "who did your conversion?". Some just cut and paint the dash which comes out horrible.

It, can be easily done if you have the parts and tools. Drill open all spot wells from the top A-frame over the door hinge and that height in chassis and take of the front-end. Get a LHD front-end and weld it in on a chassis straight, gas tank, and steering rack. And you are almost done. If you think it is easily done. Do it but don’t try to pay someone for it. And don’t worry you will only notice that it has a different VIN from the LHD drive and a different chassis numbers.
