I posted a thread with lots of pics of the subframe mount install...the Rennline pieces have been fixed to keep the subframe off the unibody.

new side support heatshields, £60 a pop
new RS M003 clubsport strut brace (a 964 part)

plated silencer straps ! Came out better than expected

We all love new shiny things.

blasted

and lacquered

early next week they'll get rebushed with RS shore 85 inserts

new front RS top mounts

and the rears

Ooopss... the RS spring cap doesn't fit inside the smaller Bilstein PSS10 springs. That'll be £80 down the swanny then. Time to go to my man on the gypsy site in West Molesey to get an aluminium copy fabricated that will fit properly.

and heres the remains of that pesky ball joint that was impossible to split .... GTone took one and half hours labout to get it off the upright ! Much use of large very very hot flames, massive pullers, guns, big huge mallets and tons of swearing.

I'm honestly stunned, amazed, in shock as I read this thread. You, sir, are amazing! Some years ago I did a frame off restoration on a pickup truck.....I was proud of it, but your work is far beyond mine! WOW.
