Default Seeking reputable independent repair shop near Westlake Village CA

Need to have drive axle boots replaced and the Dealer (who is clearly smoking crack) thinks I'm going to pay their overhead for the month. $600 for labor alone? Really? Not gonna happen. They can kiss my ***! Any suggestions on a shop that can do this job without screwing up my car that won't cost such a ridiculous price?

A really good guy is Michael Schatz who now has a shop in Camarillo. Too bad I can't remember the name... but I think it starts with a "K".

Another one is Jason at RS Enterprises 249 South Laurel Street, Ventura, CA 93001-3069 (805) 643-1041. He is as honest as can be and is a one man shop with a helper. He is also very busy so get an appointment if you use him. He should give you a price over the phone too. Great guy.

Jason At RS is usually the only guy I ever use. In this case unfortunately I'm running low on my free AAA tows so I don't want to use them in case I need them. Also don't want to drive the car like this so I need someone close.

I think Autohaus West or Autobahn West right off Chesseborough has been around for awhile. I've never used them though

+1 on Mike Schatz and Kundensport, they're right around the corner from my shop and work also on some of our cars.
