I know the feeling! I used to be on this forum daily and after I sold the 993 I just cant bear to come here often. It reminds me of the fact I dont have my 993 anymore. I sold it to fund this project... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...ect-lilly.html
I really should have kept the 993 and just taken longer on the resto. The sad part is the 993 sale only covered 1/2 of the resto cost! That said, Im going to get another 993 as soon as I can swing it. White 993C2S hopefully! I really miss that car!! I do love the old one though but it just isnt the same. I will admit that the old car is a ton faster than the 993 though

Hi Mark! Glad to hear you are planning a 993 comeback.
Where are the pics of the restored 911?

Darin, Here is a Pic of it at P2O and a pic with the 2 bricks she won first time on the road. The last pic is of the 993 with the old car under a cover in the garage. Take a look at the thread in my earlier post. These is a fairly decent thread about it.
Also, I talked a friend into a set of your cans for a 997 and he loves them (Garry Simmons)! Thatr is one of the things I miss most is the sound of the 993. I must say my 3.2ss twin plug also sounds pretty good about 7500
Sorry for the hijack.....But...a few more then done.
Here is a pic right after I got her out of storage for 25 years. Did I mention this is the first car I ever drove. Hence why it was important to restore to me.

Just love that picture with your daughters posing next to your car...
Great restoration as well by the way!
Chris
Yea...they were acting goofy. Thanks for the comment on the resto. I actually took it down to a bare tub. Every nut bolt has been replated, everything powdercoated etc. It was fun but way more expensive than I had planned. Problem is that I cant just drive it anywhere and leave it anywhere like I did with my 993. Just a different animal I guess. But as the topic of the thread says......We really envy you guy (and girls) with 993's !!!
