Our Speedsters are the perfect combination of 356 + 993, IMHO.
I'm the type that values experiences more when they're shared with others; long wait -- very thrilled to now have a fellow U.S. RLer enjoying the same road

Last Fri at The Quail in Monterey, CA, Speedy was on the grass with an ultra-rare Guards Red 997 Speedster (special-order color). I think you'll find that an interesting comparison, too. The current page of the "Rennlist/ PCA member's 993 SPEEDSTER" thread has pics with the GR 997, as well as with Speedy next to a 550 Spyder, & the following Speedsters: 356, '89, 964, & a Pure Blue 997.

Back to 356 LUV:

Default Picture of my 993 at "legends"...

Testing to see if it compressed to fit Rennlist low resolution requirements.....

Jeff-- Hope your photo-uploading's going comfortably. Last I used it, RL's picture-sharing utility was pretty restrictive compared to most of the free web resources. You probably saw the post on page 1 that linked to another thread on the subject of picture-hosting, & have been experimenting to see what you like best.

I'm a bit slow, so to cover the bases:

If you're asking if my 993 was in the parking lot: not that I know of.

If you're asking if the above 1989's mine: no, but that would be a cool question to ask since my design vision was to create a modern-day homage to the iconic WB '89 Speedsters, many of which were Guards Red with Fuchs wheels.

Slightly OT, but here are shots from last month in Dana Point, CA, with an '89 Speedster & friends (uploaded with imageShack.us).

Default I was asking if the '89 was yours....

My "down res" of the photos is via a Microsoft Windows program.

Here's a RLer driving a crazy rare 964 Turbo S "package car" -- one of 18 made, the only 1 in yellow

Any simple way to convert and post????
And yes, my 993 was there...............
I use Photoshop and "Save As" then select 1 (maximum compression)
for all my photos, pixel resolution remains the same, I'll be darned if I can visually see the difference.

One more photo here, plus details on the exotic 'package cars' -- more exotic than the famed 964 Turbo Flachbaus, of which at least 75 were made.

Same ride, same RLer near Legends @ Carmel's "Barnyard:"

More pix of the 964 Turbo S "package car" that a RLer buddy brought, & the 993 Turbo S owned by another RLer friend:
