Rennsport Reunion ATTN: Tx, Co, NM, & East Coast drivers!
We’d love to have you join the Caravan of Porsches driving to Beautiful Monterey for the Rennsport Reunion Oct. 14th-16th. We have several people and cars driving from Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, etc. We will meet in Durango Colorado on Tuesday October 11th. We have 50 rooms reserved at the Durango Downtown Inn. Book under R-gruppe Porsche for the special rate of $135/night. Call 970-247-5393 to make your reservation.
On the morning of Oct. 12th we’ll leave Durango at O’ Dark forty and drive towards Moab, Utah. We’ll be driving on the Extra Terrestrial Hwy in Nevada (150 miles of moonscape with no speed limit). This is not a Porsche sponsored event [or a PCA or Roadrunner event either - Ed.]
Drive fast at your own risk! Whoo Hoo! We’ll be spending the night (Wednesday October 12th) in Tonopah Nevada at the Best Western High Desert Inn. Make your own reservations under code name R-gruppe to receive a special rate of $87/night. Call: 877-286-2208 to make your reservation. (Call soon, this rate will expire by Sept. 1st).
On Thursday morning October 13th, we’ll leave at O’ Dark forty again and drive through Mammoth Lakes and Yosemite and on to Monterey. Everyone is invited to join us at a BIG party at the Cantina Bar and Grill next door to the Quail Resort.
Everyone is on their own for the drive home or wherever you want to go from Monterey. There is no cost for this tour or limit of cars or people. The more the merrier.
Everyone makes their own reservations and pays their own room and board. We just thought it would be fun to have a Caravan of Porsches going to the west coast.

We recommend getting the 3 day admission & Paddock – Porsche Corral pass. This will allow you to park your car with all the other Porsches in a much less dusty area and closer to the track.

Only one pass needed per car. Your “navigator” only needs a 3 Day Admission & Paddock ticket.
