#27, Denny and Norm leaving Phoenix tonight around 8:30. Evening cruise across the desert up by Edwards AFB and into Bakersfield for a night and day with my 10 month old grandson. Wed, over to the coast, Cambria, and up Hwy 1 through Big Sur ...ETA late afternoon into Monterey.

After much schedule reorganization, I'll definitely be flying out for the RR. Thank GOD!
I'm staying at the Abrego and will be driving a water pumper. Not a half bad one though....

We left Vancouver Island BC a few days ago and have made it to Eureka, Ca. where we are spending tonight. We will head south tomorrow and spend a few days in the Bay Area with family and then head over to Monterey mid-day on Thursday.

We will be coming over from San Jose and will arrive in Monterey around 11:00 AM on Thursday. We have some things we would like to do while we are in Monterey that day but I could stop by the restaurant in the early afternoon and try and set up some reservations if they are available. If anyone is interested let me know and I will see what I can do.

Will be working every hour I'm awake until Fri AM to make it happen. Unless I get screwed by what's supposed to happen Thursday not happening. 53 straight 12+ hour days, and i'm still sweating it...........
(Oh, and that track line layout posted above is, uh, interesting. T2 as a single apex? Full-tilt trailing brake into the first berm ever since I observed the first pro race on the neutered layout. Brake at the bridge for T6? Even my meager faux RS on usually dead RA1s is a tap just outside the 1 brake marker, turn, and foot to the floor.)

Anybody know how to get a hold of parade lap tickets? I have a corral pass but seem to be too thick to figure out where to get a parade lap ticket - if they didn't sell out long ago.
