The 997 seats are much more supportive than the standard seats they replaced. As commented above they really do freshen up the interior as they are so crisp and have a factory look to them. The silver is a good accent to the other silver on the **** and handbrake as well.
What did you have to go to get the seats to fit?
It's not that bad actually, really quite simple. You basically grind off the old mounting pieces on the rails, drill new holes based on the 993 rails and then wire it up. There is a DIY on rennlist for it but I didn't follow it exactly as I wasn't really comfortable with the safety of the mounting setup. You need to make sure you get the manual seats with motorized back portion only.
Oh, btw, Kevin, time to come to an autocross at Ft. Devens!
Haha Mike, now that it is so nice, I am afraid! I am thinking next year as I am going to do some engine maintenance this winter. I def want to drive out and see what it is all about though!

Oh, there's nothing to be afraid of. My current GF is happily flogging the yellow cab on new suspension at Devens this season and I join her once in a while when I need a break from Miata. It's fun and it's completely harmless to the car.
There's a big Porsche zone 1 event coming August 27-28th which I'll miss (wedding to attend). But then there's a September 11th event and we'll both be there. Come by, great people around, several 993, we'll try to get you into cars for a few rides. Better yet, register and drive on 11th. Nothing to it, honestly
