I added a Bluetooth receiver to my Indianapolis pro (aux in) and I'm able to stream music directly from my iphone. Very simple mod. No wires. Works great.

Hi Andreas
It's the blackberry bluetooth stereo gateway.

I tried a couple of others without success.
This one becomes visible and ready to connect to you phone automatically when it is powered up. i.e. no need to manually connect so its hidden behind the dash.

The Becker sends power (when turned on) to the usb adapter which powers up the Bluetooth device. The line out from bluetooth unit goes to the line in of the Becker and set the becker to receive aux in. You will also need an aux in cable for the Becker.

The brilliant thing about this method is, the Becker bluetooth picks up the phone calls and the blackberry bluetooth picks up the music seamlessly, each silencing automatically when required.

Thanks Rialis - that was my next question. Who makes the bluetooth gateway?...which you've just answered.

I just got my Becker Mexico 7936. The same as the 7990 except no bluetooth. Did you have to change any of the wires in the harness or was it plug and play. I do have the hifi setup though.

This!

I did that straight away!

Could one also use the Becker Grand Prix Bluetooth to stream music from a smartphone?

has anyone tried using an iphone 5 with the Becker Grand Prix. I know that it will work with the iphone 4 and 4s, but no word on anyone using an iphone 5. (particularly with the iphone 5 plug adapter that fits on the traditional style apple plug). thanks Phil

I have a Brand New Becker 7990 in the box. I intended to have it installed but haven't had the time. If you are interested, let me know. They are not being made any longer and a getting pretty rare. thanks Phil
