OT: No one likes BMW drivers

Here's what I don't get.... The second photo shows the fire hose making an acute turn to be routed through the windows of the car. If you're going to smash windows to route the goes wouldn't it be for the sake of flow and no kinks? Doesn't appear so in that case ^ they'd have been better off routing it around the car...?
Very clearly the hose would have been better to have been positioned over the rear of the car.
As it would have taken extra time to smash the windows and put the hose through, life > property?

I am not saying there aren't guys/gals who don't look forward to it and jump at the opportunity. I have never done it and I would try my hardest to avoid smashing windows at all costs. It is all about getting water to the Pumper/Engine and without kinks. I agree the older 3 series would have been better laying across the trunk there is too much hose there. It should be as straight as possible coming off the hydrant.

Holy sh*t! I used to live on that street! Its Jackson Street in downtown Oakland, California. That block is wall to wall apartment buildings so it doesn't surprise me if the fire fighters had little patience with that 3-series.
Generally speaking you don't want to f*ck with the authorities in Oakland.

Here is another picture of the recent intersection of BMW owner arrogance & Fire Hose. News reports car was purchased 2 days ago.
My favorite quote from the article, "The hose still had a kink even after they got it hooked up, so bystanders pitched in and helped firefighters lift and bounce the car away from the curb."

BMWs, Porsches, Bentleys, etc. The brand matters not.
Fact is, generally speaking of course, in the U.S. these days the amount of wealth you have is in direct proportion to the overdeveloped sense entitlement you feel, and how special you think you are.
I drive through Beverly Hills several days a week and it's like a constant obstacle course of self-important douches with little regard to rules of the road, ten to a block.
The worst thing you can have in a society is a significant amount of ordinary folks who think they're special and extraordinary when they are, in fact, not. It's more a sad statement of our society rather than just specific to any one car brand

$92,000 base Jaguar F-Type V8 S (you can tell by the 20-inch Cyclone alloy wheels) stuck in concrete.
495hp supercharged engine & 186mph top speed aren't useful without common sense
