Default Bay Area Recommendations

Hi all,

So, my C4S just turned 15,000 miles, meaning it's time to decide where to service this thing. I'm in Mountain View, but I'll gladly take it to any place in the Bay Area. Your suggestions are very much appreciated!

As an aside, out of curiosity, can anybody tell me what jobs are recommended at 15,000 miles?

Take it to Bobby Grigsby at RMG in Sunnyvale.

Tell me more about RMG. Also, if I have all sorts of nit picky items that I want to take care of while I'm getting this car serviced (various little rattles in the cockpit and such like) and I'm too afraid to begin diagnosing/tackling them myself, where would you guys recommend I go?

Bob has serviced my 3 Porsche's since 1999. He is awesome, honest, meticulous, knowledgeable and friendly. What else do you want to know? He will attend to your nits.

1999? Hell I've been going to him since 1980 (until I moved out of the state in 2005). But I certainly agree with everything Hal says. http://www.realmeangarage.com. Yes, I know it's a stupid name but they do excellent work.

I am still thinking RMG are Bob's initials!

I also chose RMG - based on recommendations from the people here.

Just had my 60k service done by them last month. They're a good bunch of guys to deal with and really know their stuff.

Hmmmm. I sincerely hope this isn't the first service for this car! A low mileage car needs servicing annually.

RMG. You are lucky you are in Mountain View and don't have to drive as far as I do to go there!

Seems like you can't go wrong with RMG. However I want to give a big shout out for Tony Heyer of Heyer Performance in Mountain View. I had him do the ppi and the fixes for my not yet introduced '98 C2S. He's a great guy and gave excellent service for the $$$.

No no, car had been serviced annually before I bought it. It is now due for its 15,000 mi service.
