What is the difference between...
Ok, a liitle preface here. I have purchased an Alpine head unit and CD Changer for the 1996. The car did not come with a changer from the factory.
In my search for how to mount the changer I have found two different cd changer "supports" for the 993. PN 964.645.221.00 for 964's and the 1995 993. There is also PN 993.645.221.00 for 1996 thru 1998 models. So I realize that the mounts may bolt into the car differently, but is there a difference in the way the CDC2 and CDC3 attached to the bracket. IIRC Porsche did offer Alpine units so that may make a difference in which I need. I haeve a CHA-S634 if that matters.
And we also have the 987/996 CDC4 bracket which lloks way different than the earlier mentioned parts.
