996 Window Squeaking Traveling Up and Down
I have a 99 996 and my window squeaks while rolling up and down. The window functions properly but makes a squeaking noise that sounds like the window scrapping against rubber. Any suggestions on the squeak? I thought it was the felt on the inner and outer window sweeps but they appear to be in good condition. Does anybody know if there are wheels inside that need replacing or do I need to replace window regulator. Thank you.

You posted this in the 993 forum. You may want to repost over in the 996 forum. A stab at your problem would be to remove the door panel and lubricate all pivot or moving parts. Also silicone the window tracks. Move the window up and down with the door panel off to see if sqeak stops or to pinpoint the location
