Default Driveblock, simple question?

I currently have a thread going HELP? Starter motor will not activate
its probably too wordy, so i'll get to a point i thought of last night.

Do you know if the drive block system prevents engine RUN operation, or just engine START operation?

I'm trying to sort out a starting issue. The car runs fine if bump-started so i'm thinking its NOT drive block related.
If drive block prevents START and RUN, then i have a problem with starter or associated wiring, not the drive block

if drive block only prevents START, then I'm still at square one.

Thanks,

Craig

Driveblock stops both run and start

w/ a '95 a chip is needed to bypass the run interfenence
a different relay is needed to bypass the starter interference

on a '96 I assume it's the same but I have gone through the wiring like I did w/ the '95

Thanks, i'm going to lift the car and inspect starter connections and then see if power to the starter is present once the circuit is energized.
