Default Anybody know this Houston TX 993

I'm looking at a low mileage 95' 993 in Houston. It was in the Houston area all its life. It looks really clean but the dealership has no maintenance records. Trying to see if it belongs to a fellow RL'er.

It is completely stock in iris blue. The only exterior distinction is a jesus fish emblem...

It doesn't have the hand basket taillight so if it's completely stock methinks it should be a '96. Unless they closed with a limited run of '95s with the new brake light. Also, I'm not a fan of completely stock 993s or 964s as these cars need updated suspensions at the very least and a clutch that isn't 15 years old is usually a good thing too. Of course, if its cheap enough you can choose to update it however you want

Get it to Mike Callas for PPI. This will give you the best assessment you can get in the area.

Sometime during late March or Early April 1995 production, any 993 coupe equipped with a 3rd brake light switched to the later style unit rather than the basket handle. My 04/95 build C2 coupe is equipped with the later version.

To the OP, anymore details on the car?

Could be the one that recently popped up at the Hyundai used lot. They most likely bought it at auction, but who knows.

Sterling McCall owns Advantage Cars. I'm actually going to look at it tomorrow.

Please let me know what you found. I'm lining up to have Akram at Motowerks done the PPI but that could take a while...
