I enjoyed this wonderful beer last summer during our annual summertour in the Alps, it was a nice encounter...

Russian River Brewing has some great beers. One of my favorites.



Can anybody recommend any beers that would be good to aged. I'd like to try this, and try not to be tempted to drink them while I wait.

Fond memories of travelling in Germany...It seemed that every little town had it's own brewery and, not wanting to disappoint the locals, we sampled their fare. Funny thing, I never found a bad one, just some better than others....Prost!

An additional mention (third) for Pilsner Urquell and an additional (second) for Anchor Steam. My favorites.

Tannenzäpfle deserves to be mentioned (most profitable German brewery, as I once was told. Credible, since their marketing budget is miniscule).
