I love a pint of Guiness. Or a good ice cold glass of Sapporo.

Rouge - St. Rouge Red Ale and Dead Guy Pale Ale
Laughing Skull
Anchor Steam

Suprisingly, I haven't had a lot of amazing beer on my trips to Germany, but Andechs double bock was top notch! Had it at the monestary.

Recently had a Good People IPA cask ale that was fantastic!

Sitting in San Marcos Brewing Co. Having Old Goat oatmeal stout and chicken soup in San Marcos, Ca. Good stuff.

What a great idea! Talk about beer!
My favorites are the two below.
I've had the Rauchbier from Bamberg as well several times, but it is an acquired taste. Nevertheless I was happy to see a picture of it in this thread!

Bells is FTW. Love their Lager, Third Coast & Oberon offerings.

Also love Peroni, Morretti, Pilsner Urquell, Stella Artois, Guinness and Boddingtons.

Every now and then I'll buy a few bottles of Arrogant Bastard or Chimay. Just too filling for everyday.

Turn up the volume...

The beer lovers web site...bier.de

Sure enough, my favorite beer (Augustiner Edelstoff) is in the top five.

Anderson Valley Brewing Company Oatmeal Stout is exceptional. I cleaned the shelf at the local 'mart last time I was out.
I have never been dissapointed with anything from Stone. Their Old Gaurdian Belgo Barley Wine is also very good if you want to try something a little different. They also have an Oaked Arrogant Bastard! Mmmmm....

Went to Augustiner Keller in Munich a couple weeks ago - good beer and food.

Also, another Stuttgart classic - Wulle!

It is an acquired taste, but when paired with pork and bacon it is amazing because of the smokey taste to the beer. I'll have to try and find the 2 you recommended.

I forgot to add. Delirium
