Second top. It has a hole in it from getting pinched while closing in the same place the first one did. I have had my share of top misery. I opened it one night and the cable broke on one side and it twisted and snapped the mount on the left. Right now it's manual as it needs a new cable, again.

It's nice to see these cars used as intended. Way to go.

Any rattles or squeaks to speak of? Where do they come from? You are now the test bed for all of us

I think you should have driven another two miles before taking the photo of the odometer.

I bought the car in Richmond VA and had it maintained by the franchise there (Haywood Clarke =>West Broad Porsche => Euroclassics). The mechanic was Wayne Hall at all 3 of the dealerships. The owners of the franchise kept changing. I started out having them change it every 5000 miles. After ~100,000 miles I started changing it every 10-15k. I use what they put in. I moved back to the Phila area in '04 and I've had Holbert's Porsche, now Porsche of Bucks County do all of my work. Brian has been my mechanic. I think they use Mobil I 10W40. I always give the car a proper warm up. I start it up and drive it gently until the engine has some heat, the go like hell.

I have a 300 watt amp for the door and rear speakers and a 150 watt amp for the subs. At 80 mph with the top down and the tunes cranked up, I don't hear any rattles or squeaks. Once I didn't hear the Valentine one go off and was cruising down the road at 100+. Boy did that suck. The trooper cut me a break and only wrote me for 100/65. Fortunately I was the medical examiner in that county and didn't lose my license, just a lot of bucks.
