Air Bag Light ?
I hooked up the durametric and it shows no faults found, however, my a/b light will not shut off. My car came with the 3 spoke wheel and up until recently I have had no problems with the light. I ran the test in the 964, 993, and 996 modes just to make sure. Although while I was gone to Iraq my wife did have problems with the battery. I replaced the battery when I got back in April and just removed and replaced the negative terminal a few days ago but the light is still on...anyone experience this problem before? I searched but all of the posts HAD fault codes pop up on the durametric. Thanks in advance for your help.

It may be failing cold solder on the back of your clock gauge. Check out the DIY on pcar.com to re-solder. I have the same issue but haven't had a chance to pull the clock yet. Where did you go to hook up to durametric?

Given that you get the cold solder fixed (and it may be a bad controller) you still have the light on. I found that only the dealer's equipment could get mine reset--$110 and about an hour. I also had the peace of mind to know that the entire system was functioning correctly (controller, clock thingy, etc) correctly.
Remember, you still don't know the original fault yet. With that light on, your air bag will not function.
Good luck.

I think you need to find someone local with a KTS-300/301. If you were up here I would say drop by. Once I can sell my 95C4 I will probably be selling mine.

Again, once you get whatever tripped the light in the first place fixed, the light will still be illuminated until a capable tester clears it. So ultimately, the only thing that may be wrong with your system at this point is that the light is on.

so more info: it seems as though my controller is not working...when I try to call up the ecu info the screen comes back blank. Is it safe to say that the air bag controller is toast? When I call up the ECU info on the DME it comes back with all sorts of info

When my indy could not get the light to reset with his Durametric system, he suggested it might be a controller--not good news; apparently big $$s.
I lucked out. Good luck. Dealer scan will tell you everything.
