Odometer Fix
I just did the Odometer repair from the DIY page.
I followed the instruction except I didn't remove the Odometer needle. Instead I just eased the motor out of its housing.
The only real problem I noted was to be deliberate in the placing of the gears. The first time I just stuck the gears in and reassembled the gauge. The second time I made sure the large gear was well seated in the Odometer and it works like a charm now.
Of course, in the Rennlist tradition, I had to make sure the Odometer worked by taking a quick drive down my new favorite curvy road outside of Heidelberg.
