Default OT: Porsche World Roadshow in Atlanta today

What a nice experience. Part autocross, part test drive, we got to drive a lot of different cars on two separate courses set up around Turner Field and then a road test. Boxster Spyder, Cayman R, Boxster S, Cayman S, Carrera S, base Carrera, 4S, and base Panamera, in descending order of fun. 997's felt huge and bulky compared to the 993.

My camaraphone pics aren't worth posting here, so I won't. Anybody else here hit this event? It's been held in LA, Dallas, and a few other places, I think. They did a great job with it.

Man! I did absolutely nothing today. Would have loved to attend on such a rain free day. I hear about nothing living in the boonies. Maybe another time if I ever get wind of it. Sounds like you had a good time.

Wow! I wish I had known about it too. Did you have to buy tickets?

Actually, my buddy Mike signed me up as a guest. His radar is finely tuned to events like these, and I'm grateful for it. From what the driving instructors told me, they resume the tour in August. Here's the link to their site: https://www.porscheworldroadshowusa.com/media.aspx

I did it in SF a couple of months ago. It was really fun and it was free. I got an email from Porsche with a special sign up code to register for the event. I think I filled out a form (probably at ALMS) stating I would probably buy a Porsche in the future so I got on their email list for events like this.
