I think this is why someone made a prototype split sway bar droplink bracket (Chris Walrod?). IMHO the locknuts need to be tightened with a hammer and punch. Hammering the pin wrench won't be sufficient.

Yep, per Darin and Mark from FD Motorsports, use a punch and hammer to put the finishing touches on the collars.

I used a LARGE screwdriver and a hammer, but yes, make sure they are tight.

just finished...what a bitch! plus, its 100 degrees so that doesnt help...luckily the pit is a little cooler

Going to have the alignment shop double check tightness tomorrow! Thanks for all your help.

FYI - you do not have to remove the shocks from the vehicle.

1) loosen lower control arm bolt
2) loosen but no need to remove eccentric bolt holding the control arm
3) remove sway bar drop links
4) loosen 13mm nuts from the top but do not remove
5) slide out control arm bolt to free up the bottom of the strut
6) adjust accordingly and put back together...do drop links last when the car is on the ground.
