Why settle for 993?
Have you looked at 996C4S! It's so much nicer and even cheaper than 993...IMO, it might be a better fit for you than...
That way, you might not have to sell your other 4x4.
GL! Either way, Any pcars rock!!!

1986ish. Guy walks into my Porsche shop. "I wanna buy a turbo, tell me about them." Always been about as much of an enthusiast as anyone out there, and if it wasn't preventing me from knocking out work I was game for talking 911s. Over the course of about a month I think I probably educated the guy on the moving goalposts of: 930 (slope or not), widebody (factory or not), SC/Carrera, early E/S, 2.7L Carrera, '73 RS............I'm sure a 914-6 came up, too. I remember PPI'ing a crappy gray market turbo for him ("Gotta be a deal!"), telling him it was a POS, and never hearing from him again.

But you get a feel for if a guy is enamored with a spec sheet, or wants to pound the pavement to drive the cars and understand how similar/different they all are.

God, if there was a search function 25 years ago...............

Ken, there was. You, and others, were the search engine.

Actually, it was an early edition of Zimmerman's "Used 911 Story".

(And he was MY search function. Dude bailed me out of more than one "huh" moments back in the day. I loathed picking up the phone to bug him, but he ALWAYS made a few minutes of time to help out.)

Oh, we're here, and we notice punctuation, as well.

FYI, "posts" doesn't need an apostrophe, and a comma needs to be placed before "too."

Carry on...

Bad spelling and poor use of punctuation makes one appear stupid, even if one is not. I guess the idea is if one cannot spell simple words correctly, then it stands to reason that the person will not be able to handle more complicated things well.

Not always true, but sometimes it is.

Yeah, there's always a cop-out line for those to use when they're either too lazy or stupid to figure out the right way to spell simple words. One could argue that the lazy person with bad grammar has the issue, I suppose. There's nothing more shallow than being so self-absorbed that one cannot care to figure out how to spell simple words correctly, no? The only other reason I could think of is just being dumb. Pick your poison

I can't wait for Gen "whatever" to age. The degradation of our language due to texting, twitter, etc is going to be fast and extensive, with too many z's at the end of words. Or is it wordz?

"It" doesn't need an apostrophe when "it" is possessive.

I gave you free passes in posts 60 and 61, too.

Just ribbing you. Know knead two get you're panty's in a not.
