All fully detached homes in my area. 1.2 meter set back from the side property lines...and the cost of entry is about $1 million to start...

Can't blame him. Great car, low mileage. He should be able to make some money on it.

I agree completely. Anyone thinking about buying this beauty should consider that if a dealer gets hold of it, the asking price will most definitely be considerably higher.

The OP's car should be listed on the PCA site, given the stock condition and overall high quality.

A local dealer offered $50K last Sunday after inspecting the car at my home. Unfortunately, he didn't have anything that I was interested in trading towards. Dealers and brokers have shown the most serious interest to-date.

I know this is a tough market for collector cars, being in Canada scares some folks away, and there is a small percentage of 993 enthusiasts willing to spend over $50K for a C2S. So, I will continue driving and enjoying the car with it for sale...if it sells, great. If not, no sweat, I love the car

To answer the PM I received...I have $57,400 in the car before sales taxes (13% up here).
This is how I like to sell cars also

Onami, you should work a deal (trade and buy) with Willhoit, on this Turbo, for example:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...fCarsQ5fTrucks

Just make sure he takes a little oil out of her, she appears over-filled ( I assume ground is pretty level). He has a Silver and a Black one too.

Thanks No HTwo O, Whilhoit PM'd me that he would be interested in working out a deal and I will consider that if a private buyer doesn't come along in a couple of weeks. My color preference would be Arena Red over black and I'd like under 30,000 miles for those of you out there considering selling

If you are going to buy another car, it may make more sense to work out something with a dealer in light of the sales tax issue. I don't know how it works in Canada, but in the U.S. you are only going to pay sales tax on the difference. And, the sales tax difference on 30k+ versus 80k+ is non-trivial.
