Smile Is it possible to fit these wheels on a 993?

Hi guys,

I bought 19" wheels for my BMW M3, and i did not put them on yet. I'm also thinking these will look hot on a 993!

Is it possible to fit these wheels: Rial Race Wheels
5X120, they are 19"x8.5 front and 19"x10 on rear. Et 19 and et 40.

Thanks.

Porsche wheels are 5x130mm bolt pattern.

I would avoid using adapters and find wheels that will fit your car. Also not sure about the offsets on those wheels.

Anything is possible. it's much easier if it's a coupe as roof is more sturdy and allows you to fit two sets of two wheels on top of it. Be careful as the roof's not flat so they might slide off.

Seriously, though, you can make a custom adapter if need be. Why you would do that is beyond me, but you could. A 19 front offset will be a an issue, as probably will be 40 rear offset if it's a narrow body. But since you're not even telling us if it's positive or negative offset, you probably don't worry about running giant spacers or cutting fenders.

In short - don't. Just don't. Buy real 5x130 tires in proper offsets. Hopefully not chromed and not 19" (you have a steering rack brace installed on the car, right? Oh, never mind).

Even without considering the thickness of any adapter, these are not even close to fitting as the rear will be about an 1" outboard of stock and the front will be about 1 3/4" outboard of stock. The most you're going to be able to go is about 1/4 to 1/2" less offset than stock, depending on tire selection. Stock NB offsets for 18x8 and 18x10 are 52 and 65 respectively.

Simple answer is no.

At minimum an adapter needs to be 20mm, which would result in an offset of ET+1 for your front wheels - approximately 50mm to aggressive.
