horrible ROI for sure but why would you pick that model for a bubble car/garage queen? Buy one that is a lower production run.... c2S, TT, TTS, or even the year before this car the 94 3.6 Turbo or 3.6 Turbo S slant nose. Any of those cars in with 200 miles on them you would have a better chance to make a profit on than a normal cab.
Although I dont really understand how to flip cars anyway, even sitting on one for 20 years. I cant give into driving them

I think all of you have missed the part of the description that explains the whole thing: "most hose's and rubber elements still have the white powdery residue on them".

Not sure why a collector would buy that car new as it was not a "special" vehicle... $70K is steep, though someone might pay it for their collection...
Sure was an amazing car when it came out though... I wish I could have owned one new!

Let's see, invest that amount, say $ 75,000 at a return rate of 5%, over 16 years would net you a return of $ 56,000... me thinks it was a very poor investment. He would have been better off, putting that money into a 1955 Porsche Speedster!
If you consider it art, buy something that IS ART and hang it on the wall!
My 2 cents, for what it is worth.
