Ash, Thanks for the kind words. I'm so glad you're happy with the car. Seeing those pics brings up pangs of remorse and as you can see by my avatar, I haven't completely let go just yet. I couldn't of asked for a nicer guy to deal with and knowing the car went to you certainly made it easier to let go. Just remember I have first right of refusal if you ever sell it......

Ain't rennlist a great place!

Nothing beats a Rennlister to rennlister deal. Congrats to both of you. Sounds like a very amiable transaction.

Indeed, a pleasure to see a good transaction between Rennlister to Rennlister.

Beautiful car! Is it Polar or Artic Silver? Looks Polar to me.

Hiya Doug...keep the avatar...it has my wholehearted endorsement ....thanks again for taking such good care of the car...I promise to keep the tradition going...and yes, if I'm ever stupid enough to sell a 993 again, you'll be the first I call...

Hehe...Doug may be feeling a bit bad...but I'm guessing that's softened a bit everytime he hits the loud pedal in the TT... :P

It is in fact, Arctic Silver...hard to tell sometimes depending on the light in the photography.

Rennlist is a great place...especially this forum. Just imagine if the whole car buying experience always felt like this place...

Congrats! Based on your signature, the "new" arctic silver has the M030 suspension package... Having owned two C2S 993s - how do you like the M030 option?

Beautiful car - enjoy.

My former 993 had a PSS9 set up (RS height) dialed in around 3 or 4 with a set of TRG sways so that's my point of reference. For the crappy streets around here, that was a pretty firm set up and probably borderline for most people's patience where potholes and road cracks are concerned. The M030 set up is much more compliant and while there's a bit more 'softness', the car still tracks confidently. I think it's a pretty good way to go for the street. I'm planning on doing the Walrod bushings on the front control arms in the near future so I'll be interested in what that yields as well...all comments seem to indicate it's a great improvement.

Ash,

Great to see you back in the 993 brotherhood. Are you still with EA?

Pong...long time no see! No...I left EA last August and opened up a studio with another colleague of mine. It's been pretty busy since then....how have you been? It'd be nice to get a BAR get together again...I still have that pic of your RUF with the 'twisty road ahead' sign from one of our Superbowl Sunday drives...

Welcome back Ash!

It's been a long time since we've been on a drive together--I haven't been to active on Rennlist lately. But it was nice to see your post, back with a very nice S! I still keep in touch with Jim M.

Hiya Brad...it has been awhile! Good to hear from you. I think the last time I saw Jim, he still had the yellow 993TT...that was a spectacular car. Hope to see you on the road one of these days...Cheers!
