Default My 993C4s is up for grabs and 69s R Gruppe Car 1

Greetings, long time since I have been here on site, been heads down..

I have decided to move up to some new toys and Im going to let my C4s go also my 69 911s as well..

I will post more soon but basics are

993 C4s Polar silver, Manual, 23,000 miles, I am second owner, no issues, just gone through by BTM..

All records from new.

M030 Factory springs, Bilstein Sport shocks, RSR staineless mufflers, premium sound, power seats.

Car is in storage in LA, mid 40's for quick sale to enthusiast.

Heres some pics

The 69 911 s is the founder of R Gruppe (chris Heurgas) old car, this car is in storage in Florida at present, and if not sold next week or so I will ship to California ..this is a special car, that needs a little work, but is I think a special story, featured in several magazines, and I think an icon for enthusiasts , let me know if this interests you.

More pics to come on this when I can get them..and price well, talk to me ...

I just posted this on a German forum. With a strong Euro, do not be surprised if someone from Germany contacts you. Beautiful car that will sell in a very short period for "mid forties".

I agree...great car. However the new tax laws in Europe has put a huge damper on these cars going back to Europe even with the weak dollar. Perhaps a RLer in Germany can comment specifically.

Ed..I posted mid forties for the C4s, and I have no real idea yet how to price the R Gruppe, but as I said I will be back to fill in details...

You need to pay 19% VAT and 10% customs. A car like this will easily run north of 50 kEuro (assuming not accident history). The color combination is one of the most wanted and might add an extra premium. In addition, it already has the ride height issue fixed which is another big plus (pays for shipping ...).

If I would not have already 2 993s I would be all over this car and would have made a firm offer pending PPI.

Wow, the '69S resurfaces! Cris called me in maybe '90 or '91 when he spotted it at a neighbors. I didn't think it was worth the $4K ask. That car still have the quickie paint job my cousin (see: 910 link below) did in his dad's garage? Cris was so broke/cheap Erik got totally frustrated on that project................................................................. .........

20 years ago did you have $4K to throw at a (then) POS 2.0S that hadn't run in years and needed paint, when full retail market on a nice one was $6K?

My friend (and initial R Gruppe guy with Cris and me 20 years before Cris met Freeman and did the "for real" R Gruppe) bought a really nice '73S a couple of years later, fully optioned with sport seats/factory air/sunroof for $8K, which I bought about 5 years later for $10K, sold in '01 for $19K.............and resold last year for about its $60K ask.
