I have to ask. What is the benefit? Is it a race application? Just wondering what the value would be.

Yes race application. So I don't have to refuel during a 90 minute enduro. JF

Thanks for the info. I spoke to the parts dept at Suncoast, their price is the same (cost + 15). Apparently Porsche has 85 new ones sitting somewhere in Germany, you'd think they would want to unload them at this point.

Would a custom fuel cell be better?

a standard off the rack fuel safe fuel cell in the 27 gallon size (closest the 92L tank) is at least $3k.

A custom job would probably be $3,500+

Jf was planning to do Sebring 90 minute enduro with out refueling, my calculations were based on 1.25 lb. fuel per minute use-90 minute enduro= 112.5lbs of fuel, at 6 lbs per gallon, need 18.75 gallons is your expierence different?
Thanks

You may not need fuel... but a 5 minute pit might be required - I know our enduro worked that way.

Good Luck

For PCA, yes, a five minute pit stop is mandatory for a 90 minute enduro. However, the pit stop is a whole lot easier if you don't have to get out during refueling. Not having to worry about re-harnessing and not spilling fuel can be the difference between winning or losing the plastic trophy.
