Thanks for posting that Cowhorn, I was trying to find that to post in here, myself.

Emerald, this is a great, great thread. Looks like you saved that car from certain slow death. Hope you enjoy the finished result immensely once the project is done!

Thanks Jon Paul..... she is slowly coming together. The finish on my frames was chipping,so I had to sand them down. I found some satin black auto enamel at one of the local auto stores. They came out looking nice. It was a bit more work than I anticipated, but then again, it usually is.

Hey Thanks for the photos Cowhorn.

Thanks Mongrelcat. She has come a long way from her tired, rusty 175K former self.

I got the front bumper assembled and installed today. It is starting to get exciting.

I hope to remove the rest of the carpet tomorrow, and maybe start prepping the sunroof.

Well today was a clean up and organize day. I started looking at what is next, and made a new list of items to order. I finished removing the carpet, and installed the rocker panels. I also installed the gauges. I sent the whole set out to Palo Alto Speedo. They cleaned and checked everything, and put shiny new bezels on.
I started laying out the new carpet today. I really like how it looks. Thanks to Bill Verburg for the suggestion to look at Lakewell. They have really nice carpet sets. It is silverknit, and they have a choice of contrasting bindings. I went with silver,as I will be putting silver seat belts in. Time for a little Angels Envy

Beats me. They are straight when I select them from my desktop, and then they are sideways after they load. Got any hints?

Hey, don't worry about it. It drives me crazy to see them one way, then see them load sideways. I tried going to a smaller image and ended up with three sideways postage stamps. I want to show it off,not make people sea sick.

Your holding your camera sideways, maybe your monitor fell off the stand.

I wish it were that easy. I posted in the help section,so maybe I will get it straightened out. I wander if a Mod could rotate them?

Ha, that's weird about the pictures... They showed right side up on my cell phone, and sideways on the PC.

^^^ I find I have this problem using cell phone snaps alot. I usually take them into Photobucket or iPhoto and when they come out, the problem is gone. Can't 'splain it but it works for me ....
