Default Which drop links?

I need to replace my front drop links. I may upgrade to adjustable sway bars at some point, (maybe soon.)
So which are the better option, rennline?

or Tarrett?
http://www.paragon-products.com/prod...h-993fdlnk.htm
or is there a better option? The RS links are nice, but 2x the price?

Wow!!! I am surprised people pay this much money for $50 worth of parts that one can source from McMaster-Carr.

I've built my own adjustable sway bar end link (rear) for $35 years ago and they are still working on my car.

IMO, the fronts do not really matter. It is nice to have adjustable drop links, but the stock links will have enough range of motion for any adjustable sway bar that I have seen. I would replace with stock drop links or RS (I am surprised you are saying they are twice the price of the Tarret/Rennline - $500?). The rear RS Links were just under $300 delivered from Sunset.

It's crazy pricing on the RS links...

Aftermarket upgraded links are less expensive. So why not?

If/when you do the rear drop links, you want the RS links or you will not be able to use all the adjustment points in the RS or TRG adjustable sway bars. Also, call Luke Rogers at Sunset Porsche - I bought the rear RS links from him about two months ago for less than $150 each. You might try him for the fronts as well.

Thanks John. For some reason, the rears are less expensive. I followed your responses in another thread. I'll probably wind up with the TRG stuff. It seems to the the best bang for the buck. Will the Tarrets/Rennline links work with the TRG sway bars?

Tarrett just this week sent me a pair of adjustable, curved drop links for my rs sway bars. It took a while to get them but I think they made a batch so they should have them in stock. They where really good to deal with and went above and beyond which is why I want to give them reccomendation here.

Yes, the Tarett/Rennline will work with the TRG sway bars.

Moots - do you have pictures. I know TRG makes a rear curved link, but I did not know Tarett made one. Tarett makes great stuff, I do not think you could go wrong with them.

Tarrett drop links. I have had stock, 993 RS and Tarrett. Like the Tarrett best of all. Rugged and adjustable if need be. Ira Ranin from Tarrett is a Porsche racer too, a + in my opinion. His products have been readily adopted by the SoCal Porsche racing community, to include some Spec classes.

Just buy the cheapest drop links you can get for the front; they're not important. If you buy the aftermarket monoball links, make sure to also get rubber boots for them and grease them up good, especially if you ever street drive your car.

$254.85 for stock links sounds about right.

I can have some fabbed up for you for less than the RS links. My brother and I built a set with high quality spherical end links that wont break like those POS RS plastic ends. they are curved and the same length as the RS, work great on my TRG bars, easily adjustable to all the settings. PM me if you might be interested.
