My 993TT is here!
My first post as my new name: Spidey 993TT (formerly tjeff993). I changed my name to reflect the purchase of my 1997 993TT and to match the name given to the car by my 5 year old son who loves the black Spiderman and our new car. The car showed up yesterday and I'm still pinching myself. I have attached some pictures because I know the rules and I don't want to get the beat down.
On to the good stuff, the car!
I bought MarkD's (FD Motorsports) black/black 993TT! Yes, I just said it and nope it hasn't sunk in yet.
Some of you already know the car, but for those who don't I have listed some updates/upgrades with the biggest items done within the last 3-4k miles.

90k miles, new top end, rebuilt turbos, clutch, 996 turbo check valves/oil lines, LWF, RS mounts, 2WD conversion, Tarret kinematic toe links, tie rods, PSS9, 200 cell "sport" cats, Fister Turbo mufflers, SSK and shift rod, Ruf wide oval tips, Ruf strut brace, Aluminum pedals, Alcatara covered 2 spoke wheel..eBrake handle..shift ****, the list goes on....

As you can see in the pictures, the car is in fantastic condition. Let me also say how thankful I was to have Mark on the selling end of my dream car. Since I was in Colorado, with my wife about to give birth, and Mark in CA, he documented every detail of the car with pictures to help close that gap in distance for me. The process was incredible, the car is fantastic, and I'm day one into a new journey with my dream car.

Congrats, that looks like an amazing car. There must be something about CO and 993's because I saw a beautful Arena C4S and Iris (maybe) C4 cab this morning going to work. Enjoy and I look forward to crossing paths our here.

First off and most importantly, congrats!!!!! Great looking car!!!
Secondly, had you told me that it was coming from NorCal, I would have HAPPILY drove the car home for you (I am out in NorCal almost weekly). I know you would have loved to have a complete stranger drive your brand new toy home for you!
Third, how did two guys, both from Colorado, both buy their “Dream Car” at almost the same time they were about to have a kid?!?! I took delivery of Barney the day after my daughter was born and we were on “High Alert” during the time I flew out to go look at it.
Anyway, hope to link up with you and the other local Porsche dorks some time soon.

I thought maybe it was a bad dream.
Cactizzler, I wasn't actively selling but was planning on going the GT3 route this year... eventually that meant selling my turbo. I knew that, but hadn't really internalized it.
Yup Gappy, GT3. I REALLY hope it does it for me. It is very weird seeing "my" car... with another man.
However... Tony is a great guy and the nicest person you'll ever meet. No exaggeration. He made it much less painful to sell.
I just can't believe this actually happened. And so fast.

Tony - WOW!!! Awesome car - great previous owner. Mark - you weren't kidding when you said you had something big happening.... So Tony, what's the deal with you guys in Colorado - get your wives pregnant and you get Turbos!!!
