Okay, this is a long shot but I'm out in Denver on business and am itching to go drive some karts...WAY last minute but I'm thinking of heading to Speed Raceway and BJ's out there for dinner...not sure in what order but karting is usually good first so beer can be had last. I figured it was a long shot, I'll try and give everyone more notice next time. I wen to the track in Aurora...pretty new and nice...a little small but fun and technical. I would have liked a fast sweeper in the mix. I was the only one there in the whole place except a few of the employees. While sitting in my kart I asked if one of them would show me the line and race with me...game on! They put in their fastest driver and off we went. He lead for the first couple laps so I could see the line...then we were racing...I got by him on the next lap and then never saw him again The race was only 12 laps so I didn't have a lot of time to learn the track and the kart (which had gobs of understeer and needed HEAVY trailbraking to go fast) but managed to get a very good time according to the employees. The guy I raced with didn't really want to talk to me as I bested his best time ever on my 8th lap

Can any of you spot what my name is below.....

With a better balanced kart and a warmer day I am sure I have a low 25 in me!

Hey Adam, sorry I missed your post. Looks like you had a great time.

There is another cart track that just opened up. We has a PCA meeting there last month, it's Unser Racing located in an older auto dealership building at I-25 and Hwy 36 in Denver www.unserracing.com
