Chuck,
Very inspiring. You have had an incredible professional life and one full of satisfaction.

Nowadays one only hears bad news. Your post is a breathe of fresh air.

Enjoy your well-earned retirement!

What? Chuck's a cop?! A little late with the party invite!?! Did you at least get to slap your badge and gun down on your boss's well-worn wooden desk in a room illuminated only by a few streaks of sunlight?

You never need to apologize for your OT posts. Like all of your posts, they are always well conceived and written. It must be hard to put 34 years in a few paragraphs, but I expect that even that process was rewarding.

Hope to see you again soon, at Rennsport if not sooner.

Nice to hear this news Chuck, congrat's to you, sir.

I love the artwork, but hmmm, that looks more like Polar than Arctic to my eye. Nothin' wrong with that though Love the details on the bumper, and the plate...

Anyway, ENJOY!!

What a great post! I always have tried to imagine what my day of retirement would be like - knowing that the second half of my life was about to begin... And for you, today is that day! Congrats on a great career.

Enjoy it throroughly - and the vacation!

Congratulations Chuck !!

You can be proud of your career, and hopefully have many great years enjoying retirement.

I am sure my retirement send-off will be one sentence: "Max, we think it's best if you don't come into work any longer."

My wife is from Filippines and it's long time we travel there, it's a wonderfull country with special people, you will like to be there.
I post you a photo of the island where i love to go, in Filippines, Boracay.
It's one of the first good price you deserve
If you' ll travel in Italy...it's full of porsche like mine.

Way to go! Heartiest congratulations! Really liked the announcement artwork. You're going to love retirement. So many people have no other interests but work and, when they retire, they're "lost ***** in the high weeds"! Suggestion: With a fantastic career like yours, write a book!

What an amazing career, life, person! Thanks for your dedication to a profession that deserves more praise than it receives. I was a military police officer for many years and had a small glimpse into your world. It takes a special person to be that strong and giving for so many years, and to rise through the ranks like you did.

Have a great party and I'm glad you shared with us.

Way to go Chuck ! 34 years in any one profession is a milestone, no less as a Peace Officer and in LA !
I live and grew up in the greater LA areas.......look forward to meeting you someday and seeing that beautiful Turbo of yours in person would be a treat !
