Thumbs up Colorado commute -- Porsches in motion (phone's traffic photos)

Earlier in the week this free spirit brightened my day, when the weather was overcast & the rest of humanity had their windows up:

Returning from yesterday's glorious snowboarding, we met up with a friend's Cayenne Turbo S, who had enjoyed a different kind of fun runs

Great shots. Colorado weather, like the rest of the country has been unusual.

Understand the Speedster shot -- the sun was probably out :20 min later....love it!!

Yep, that be their Cayenne ^^

Are you familiar with their racing prowess? Both are quite accomplished.
My friend driving me back from 'boarding isn't acquainted with their track skills, but was impressed at Chris' ease at smoothly getting past vehicles constantly attempting to impede the flow of traffic.

Said a lot about Chris, considering the length & bulk of the loaded trailer, plus their instant Turbo power.

Might see them for the Great Sand Dunes National Park tour. You going?

Colorado sucks. Don't anybody listen to these guys. The weather is horrible and we've got not a single good road to drive. Stay away. There's no fun to be had in Colorado.

I won't be able to go on the sand dunes tour, but will see them in late May and hopefully at PCA Escape in Flagstaff.

I met them when I joined ALP with my "New" (to us) 87 924S in Jan 2004. They have become good friends. BTW do you know if ALP is having the golf tournament this year?

Don't believe GT. Colorado has great mountain (read curvy) roads and while the weather at times can be interesting, it's a fantastic place to live.

Colorado may not be "God's Country" but that's where he goes on vacation!

Thanks for getting me to look that up, never spent time in that part of AZ:
Sep 15 - 18's PCA Escape 2011. <--- Maybe that link will help others get there.

Unfortunately, the Porsche Club of America tried to prove us wrong by showcasing Colorado's mountains for 2009's PCA Parade. If you think any of these photographs at the Keystone resort look appealing, just click "Full Screen" & you'll quickly see it's all smoke & mirrors: beautiful backdrops are just digital edits, cheap photo-chops from places where it doesn't snow 13 months a year.

Bob was there, & recalls it was hailing & snowing at the same time -- a comparably good day here.

Gotta go fire up the snowblower, time to clear the driveway ... 5th time today
