I paid $36k 8 years ago (on Ebay) for my 95 C4 993 with almost 34k on the clock. I think that car that "sold" for $45k , based on what is said (if the PPI checks out) would be a great car and a "fair" price would be in the $36k-$38k. That is if they check out. I'll pay a slight premium for a very clean car that checks out than look for a bargin. Trophy's and awards dont mean that much to me but it does go to show the care taken for the car. I think the both of these 95's would be a good price in the $36k-$38k range. What did the market command on the one listed on Ebay? Market says $36k. If I were in the market and these 2 cars in discussion where on my radar, I wouldnt get my undies up in a wad paying $37k-plus or minus $1kish. When I have my radar on buying something, I buy it.

Im also about buying "direct". No offense to dealers or 3rd parties who help sell cars but thats probably at least a 15-20% premium right off the bat.

Yes, sometimes its nice to see cars here, if one is in the market. But, without the rules, every P-car seller in the country can join for a low price, and we're inundated with FS threads.

The rule is in the Forum guidelines, which are referred to at the top of the page.

I was gonna mention this bit, but I didn't have the facts in front of me. Considering how much Porsche-related business Auto Kennel does, Sponsorship seems like a pretty good investment and extremely targeted advertising especially for 993 and front engine water-pumpers.
