Year? Mileage? Colors? Options? Mods? WB or NB? Turbo or NA. Just some of the many questions. Smart move to come back to the 993!

find a low mile C2S and bring 40-50k for a car you will keep.

the rear wheel drive, non wing, carreras are the quintessential 993s of the future IMHO.

the closest example you can find to new is the one to buy today and hold forever. Money well spent.

If you like yellow and hardback sport seats, there is one in California that was just listed yesterday on Autotrader for $30k. I posted it on this forum earlier.

Phil, welcome back! Were you too fast in that Corvette for HWFMR?

A high mileage driver in very decent shape can be bought today for under $20K. We are talking 110-120K or so miles. I believe with the price of gas going up there's another round of car dumping underway. Which helps you with potential 993 purchase.

I'm hoping people start dumping their F250 diesels too

Phil, are you looking for a street car or sorted HPDE machine? If the later, I think Thacher still has his 993 for sale.

Niles,

Something along that line. Paddy, yeah, a sorted HPDE would be most great. I have been down the slope before, no need to do it again....LOL

I'd suggest you start reading here Rennlist, then check out this cool DIY website, www.p-car.com so you'll learn about these air cooled Porsches...

Seriously, check that Thatcher's car, looks cool. Little phlat black rattle can and you're all set.
