There was one offered here which I still have on my list, and if not that one, I'll hand deliver a spare wheel along with the airbag pad to Cars Dream in Poland. I haven't been to Poland yet and they have good beer.

I believe that cars dream will not recover air bag covers
lol @ chuck that's too funny. But man that came out nice.
All I ask is that if I start posting about sending them the wheel from my Ranger you guys intervene please

How are you guys shipping your wheel to them to get the total cost including shipping in at around 230? That is an awesome deal! I think I will have them do my Cayman S wheel if they can do it in alcantera and thicken in for that price!!

the work is 170 Euro, snail mail shipping from Poland to NJ is 36 euro. they had a 3 spoke there so i was able to get the wheel sent to me first, then send my old one back...
i did not include my return shipping costs in my original posts, im not sure what they will be, but i get a 50% corporate discount with fed-ex which will help a little.
if anyone is local to me in NJ and wants to fedex ship i can help, i wont know how much it will save until i go to fedex myself and send my wheel back. Im thinking it might take a month or so before i get the wheel from them...
those FVD wheels are around $800-$1000+, when you start looking at your options, redoing the factory part really does make sense.
LOL @ MJS, i know i can always count on you mark! you prob have a spreadsheet ready to talk me out of it, it worked the last time!

At the risk of sounding antediluvian, why does everyone seem to prefer the thickened wheel? Personally, I can't stand the feel and would actually seek to retrofit an older style if I ever needed to. Totally weird, I know, because I think I'm the only person here who prefers the stock rim thickness.
