Great opportunity and thanks for putting this together Mike but I'm gonna have to pass at this time. Need to save fun budget funds for new MPSCs this summer.

I might have to send off the wifey's E36 M3 steering wheel once I get the 993 wheel back and check it out. IMO, the single best upgrade I have done to the 993 is the 3-spoker, but I have always wanted it to be a little thicker. Can't wait! Thanks again, Mike.

Let me say that the price is an amazing deal - when you look at the cost of leather + the time is takes to recover these 190 is a steal honestly.

We shall see, we shall see

We seem to have a group of 7 people at this point. More are welcome, I'd like to ship out the wheels next week.

Good things come to those who wait. And wait. And wait. And BOOM! the giant box arrives from Urrap with a whole bunch of happily recovered steering wheels.

I got mine installed tonight and the rest of them but one are on the way to the group. I will try not to pollute other's opinions and let them speak for themselves once they get the recovered wheels. I will say that mine looks good, the price worked out well and... and... after handling that many new leather things over the last two days I am beginning to look at that fetish I've been ignoring up till now.

I will be offering my regular 3-spoke for sale as well as brand new leather/carbon 3-spoke with matching shift **** (something I've picked up while waiting but never installed). I have learned a few things from this group buy experience. Mostly the fact that there are great people on Rennlist, not that I didn't know that before

Anyway, here are a few teaser pics of my wheel - perforated leather with yellow stitching.

Chris, no worries. I think I might do another group shortly just to help those who missed the first one. If so, I'll be sure to post here and to email you directly as well.

As a matter of fact, let's wait for the first group to get their wheels (5 sent out today and FedEx showing estimated arrivals between Friday and next Wednesday) and give feedbacks/suggestions for the next batch. After that I'd like to hear from those who'd want to jump into the next group.

BTW, I did something unusual with my wheel. Who's got good enough eyesight to catch that?

The quality is great. One question: Why is this wheel missing the thumbrests? It looks like a 4 spoke wheel.

Good eyes

I wanted to get rid of thumbrests. Don't like them. No sir. Like the smooth round wheels. They did the shaving for me.

On the other hand, they _added_ thumbrests to at least 4 4-spoke wheels according to the group participant's wishes. What I'm saying is that they do custom requests of this nature. And I'm still not sure if I should not have added a yellow stripe at 12 o'clock.
