Bill, where did you get these sliders as I believe this would be the solution to my problem. My slider that I purchased with the seat did not come with this. TIA

I am using Recaro flat sliders, part # re 0.70.9NT, they have to be custom fitted for your application. ie a bunch of holes will need to be drilled. It also pays to get some custom high strength hardware.
I think that this is the final bolt list I used
side to rail x10 M8-1.25x20 g12.9 allen
rail to chassis x12 M8x24-1.25 g12.9 allen
side to seat x8 M8x25.4 g12.9

Dan and Bill

I used part 964.521.065.00 (RS tunnel side seat belt anchor) http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...-question.html with my SPG seats. Worked well.
If I order this part, can I just install to slider and side mount without any additional work, or do I need to get the recaro sliders part # re 0.70.9NT and

Tks for all the help. I didn't know that this is such a PIA mod

NB. I think quickest solution is to look for the L bracket. Downside, the seat belt receptor doesn't slide with the seat.

The RS L bracket

and washers

need to be used together, they are all 3mm thick and are needed to keep all corners of the seat level, I used either a washer, the L bracket or the sub strap bar(also 3mm at the ends) under every through bolt

Hi guys, Georg Jünger here from Norway! I have the same problem and had to find a link to your site to try to find an solution to the problem with to short seat belt lookers.

Where can I buy these P03 seat belts receptacle , and do they fit on the 90 degree steel thing with the RS code 964 521 065 00 that you had a picture of here in this thread?!? cause I have those ond pole position seats (wide ones I think, cause there is no place at all between the seat and the tunnel for the gear !

I think my seat belt lookers are about 21cm long, 8.5 inch maybe so I would need the long edition to the 997...

Hope for good help here, and the forum looks really seriously , thats good!

Default seat belts for 993

hi bill.

do the 997.803.183.11 part fit the rs 90 degree bracket with nr 964.521.065.00? Then I think of the size of the holes to the screw of 11mm on the side.

hope you can help, cause I have new recaro pole position seats installed bud the seat belt lookers are to short.

Thanx for helping out

You will want to double check this but I believe that the long(~10.25-10.5) buckle receptacles are

Driver - ~10.25" 997.803.183.02
Passenger - 10.5" 997.803.183.03
yes, they should fasten to the 964 bracket

Another option is Southbound Trimmers sidemounts which have a seatbelt mount incorporated in the sidemount as done on the later cars w/ sport seats

hi bill.

I thought the 997 serial number was ending in 10 and 11 for the long edition of these seat belt receptacles like it said in the discussion "EURO SPEC GT3 BUCKEETSW HELP" .

Where there was a picture of 3 different ones, one from OEM and one P03 driverside and the last P03 passenger???!!

There was the numbers 997.803.183.10 and 997.803.183.11 or are these numbers for the 997 bucket seats?

Thanx for helping out. Georg.

As I said you will want to check on the actual lengths, the #s I posted are for the ones used w/ Carrera GT 1 piece buckets installed in a GT3RS options I384 & I385

I don't know what PO3 means

BILL: Okey, I have asked at my local porsche center here in Stavanger about the different serial numbers and lengths, but on the pictures of the parts the look all the same and there are no measurements at all :-(

TJANGI: hi, did you buy one of these seat belt receptacles for your RECARO Poleposition seat and fastened them on the RS bracket ???!! If so, do you have the part number for the longest one, cause it looks like the same hole so it is possible to use the same(the longest was 10,5inch for passenger??!!) driver and passenger side.

Hope for some good help since the Porsche center did not know witch seat belt receptacle was the longer one and if it fitted the 964 RS bracket (nr 964.521.065.00)

Thanx guys for all help I can get, cause it is not possible to drive the car with the original seat belt as it is now :-( :-( best regards Georg Jünger

Will these sliders / tunnel mount on the rail set work with Pole Positions, or do I need to get something different, ala' the parts in this thread?
