My Cabrio is for sale!
So my beloved cabrio is for sale. I have owned her for over 10 years now and its been an amazing car. Nowdays she is just sitting in my garage collecting dust as with my 15 month old son, its impossible to enjoy her so I end up driving the old Merc all the time. Not a lot of fun... I tried to hang on but it just does not make sense anymore especially with gift number 2 in the works
When I visited the Porsche Factory in 2002, just as the Cayenne's were announced the Porsche guy at the Porsche Centrum I spoke with said to me that the C was intended to keep Porsche owners driving Porsche cars instead of selling their 911's when they start a family. it did not register back then and I guess I fought it as much as I could... but yes family forces sale of my cabrio.
So here is the skinny on the car. Most of you here ( the old timers) know me and the car really well. So you know how difficult this is for me:
For $37000 you get:
1995 Carrera 2 Cabrio, originally a Texas Car, rarely driven in rain.
• 58xxx miles
• Absolutely no accidents, clean carfax etc.
• H&R coilover suspension
• M030 Euro Sway bars
• RS Clutch
• Andial Mid Weight RS Flywheel
• RSR mufflers
• Factory big oval exhaust tips
• Factory Carbon Fiber interior and Factory Aluminum Gauges
• Factory full leather interior including the dash and the visors.
• Supple Leather 12 way power driver seat, 8 way passenger, heated with Porsche Crests on the headrest
• RS factory special order Handbrake in Aluminum/Carbon
• MY02 Aluminum/Carbon shift ****
• Aluminum pedals
• Harman Kardon Traffic Pro
• Front bumper was resprayed for stone chips and its now without bumperetes as well as Gert's front protection bar.
• Euro white lenz front turn signals.
• KATZ HID headlights
• Clifford 2 way responder alarm with proximity sensor
• Red matching convertible top ( factory custom order)
• New cabrio motors and cables 10K ago
• Clutch, belts, plugs, slave cylinder all done 12K ago
• I have a stack of receipts, all manuals, etc.
Since this is a US car originally there are no re-importation fees and the process if quite simple... of course I'm open to a PPI at your expense at the technician of your choice, within a reasonable KM radius from my home in White Rock , British Columbia.
Any questions, please ask. I'm hoping to sell it to a Rennlister, but If I dont have any serious interest from here within the next 10 days, I'm going to publicize the sale...
Thanks!

Very nice. I posted it on German PFF. With the strong Euro, stellar history and some of the modifications (suspension, front bumper etc) it should have a serious chance to get back home. GL

Very nice Danny! Sad to see you selling it.
It shouldn't last long at that price/options.
Which wheels are you including with the sale?

I forgot to mention on my original ad that the car will be sold with brand new tires 225/45 fronts, 255/40 rears.
It also has brand new brake pads and I will throw in my custom TechArt 340mm Carbon/Leather with red stitching steering wheel.
Finally I forgot to add that it has red seatbelts that I added a couple of years ago. I'm sure I forget some minor mods that I did as well over the years! LOL...
Sure hope it stays in this family as I want first dibs if the new owner wants to sell it again

Thanks Mark... indeed it feels like an end to an era.. having said that I'm keeping the track beasty
The car is going to be sold as it looks in the 3 picture. With the RS splitters in the front and the 17's. I'm keeping the Speedlines for my other 993 at least for now.

On the weekend I plan to take the car out and take some more detailed pictures both inside and out
