Seal Washers for oil changes. Anyone else having trouble getting them?
I change my own oil. I cant seem to locate the proper size seal washers for the oil tank plug and the engine drain plug. All the local parts stores cant seem to find em. Is a porsche dealer the only solution?

I never replace them (***GASP***). Never had a leak.
Well, not quite never. Sometimes people come over and have bought them, so I use them. I also have a pile on stock in case people insist. However, I have not seen any issues either way. I think its just a way for Porsche to make more money as usual. They are a Porsche part.

the dealer's computer may provide a new part number when the original number is entered.

I buy them for about 10 - 15 cents each through AutohausAZ, usually buy about a dozen at a time.
Update: Just checked, they're .22 cents each.

I change my own oil too and never replace the washers, never had a leak either. Same with the gearbox oil. Never leaked either. The trick is to not overtorque them so they flare out of shape. Obey the torque setting for it and they can be reused. In my opinion anyways.

Maryland Metrics carry all sorts of hard to find fasteners including those sealing rings.
For a few cents, I can afford to change them at every oil change. They work and age harden in time. I've seen enough tight-wad BMW motorcycle owners strip the threads out because more torque to them meant an old seal would stop leaking.
