Can someone tell me about this wheel? make etc. I am assuming its not original with the car based on original pictures of 993's. Thanks

The carbon fiber steering wheel is factory option code X77. You will find it on the white sticker underneath the hood and in the service book. By the way, the aluminum/white dials is option code X71.

Thanks guys. I actually like it very much and it's an interesting color in the sun, almost a deep green.

The air bag is vinyl and the shift **** is option code Y06.

There is one for sale on ebay. 750 bucks I think. I wanted it but ended spending the money on something else.

Yes ! I agree and have been driving it each weekend. The prior owner had it 7 years and put 7000 miles on it.......it's a great car and pulls nicely in 3rd on our local speedway (aka the Merrit).

Actually,
similar steering wheel (below) motivated a motif (or 'guido stuff' as Rich might say) for my entire interior
